Richard comes to Midwest Aerial with over 20 years of experience in the Geomatics field, specializing in LiDAR. From business development and client relations, flight planning and proposals, field operations and project management, Richard has been involved in nearly every aspect of LiDAR projects throughout his career. 

Richard started his LiDAR career working for Optech/Teledyne in Toronto in 2002. His love of travel has been fulfilled throughout his career through various projects that have spanned the globe, including: Canada, Mexico, Panama, Brazil, Peru, Indonesia, and nearly all 50 States.   

Richard holds a degree in Geomatics from the College of Outaouais in Quebec, Canada and a B.S. in Geography from UQAM in Canada.  He is also a member of the Applied Science Technologists of British Columbia (AScT) and has been a Board Member of the Canadian Institute of Geomatics.

When not working, Richard can be found snowmobiling in the Cascade Mountains or crabbing in the Puget Sound with his family in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
